Description
This is a locationless cache.
Don't you hate it when you go to look for a cache and its been muggled?
Or when you go to look for a cache and there are too many muggles around to find it?
Or when a muggle has the cheek to steal one of your caches?
Well, I've finally come up with a solution to the problem. Welcome to the Ultimate Muggle Proof cache. No chance of muggles stealing this one!!!
To log the cache, you don't have to do anything, however it would be nice if you could include a funny story about an encounter you have had with muggles while caching in your log. Only one find per cacher please - any other funny stories you would like to share can be written as a note.

Out finding not another wetlands cache with boyfriend, came up to area, just as a few walkers stood right where it was, I had a note book in hand, phone and gps, I shoved gps and note book in pocket, and started fiddling with my phone.
I could hear the women talking to each other saying what are they doing just standing here!!!
after about 10 minutes of looking like idiots they headed off saying goodbye to us and we found the cache!!!

One of my most frustrating experiences was when seeking a Matrix micro in the CBD of Sydney, I wanted to check over a telephone booth but there was a woman having a very loud and animated conversation that seemed to go on forever. Away we went only to return and not find it!

The listed co-ords are those listed for "Sightseeing in Townsville" a multi placed by corikra. As I approached the final GZ today I spotted the tell tale pile of rocks common to so many caches, imagine my dissappointment when I dissmantled the cairn and only found a drug pipe.Continued on and soon found the real prize. Thanks for the cache Team_Ninja.

A cache I was lucky enough to do in Rome.
When we arrived at GZ there was a street stall right next to the cache. Knowing we were not going to be back here again I decided that the first minute the owner turned his back I would make a quick dash for it hoping I had the right location.
The guy kept facing us then he went for where I was looking and in broken english said are you looking for this. He threw me the micro. He then proceeded to tell us that he had seen it found so many times he considered himself the cache keeper. He even returned it for me.
We purchased two pinnochio yoyos from him and went on to the next one. You have to just love this crazy hobbie.

Went out to do the above cache, MPCT #1- What's the score?
Pulled up in a local football carpark in the NW surburbs and saw another vehicle parked in the corner.
Put on the handbrake and looked to my left to the car in the corner and was surprised to see a naked butt appear in the window and disappeared again.
A few seconds later 1 head pops up and then a second appears above the window ledge. MMMMMmmm I think I need to move. So I put the Geomobile in reverse and back out of the spot to park on the other side of the clubhouse.
One last look in the rearvision mirror and I see the resumption of the necessay motion.
After walking to the GZ and taking a seat for a bit to sign the log I stroll back to G/mble to see the 2 said people out of their car and adjusting clothing.
One of the funniest things I have seen.

After walking out of a nature reserve with a smallish step ladder I ran into an older gentleman who raised his eyebrows and said "that looks terribly suspicious". Had to explain everything about caching there and then to the gentleman who then talked about his long held hobby of orienteering when he was a bit younger. He said it sounds like GPS's make the hunt too easy... Well sometimes they are, sometimes they are not

Once again tonight I tried to find "Geometry", at Melbourne's Federation Square. This must be my 10th attempt at it, but every time I am foiled by muggles. So frustrating, so it's time for me to log it here as a locationless find.
Just inside the glass doors at GZ is a reception desk, with workers watching your every move. Plus, to make things worse, there are diners, drinkers, tourists, and security people all over the place. I am going to have to bring my young niece and nephew in here sometime to find this one, as it's perfectly acceptable to have them lying down on the ground, looking for it.
One of these days it will be mine... one of these days!
Thanks for this locationless cache - it's relieved some of my frustration.

In November last year I traveled up to Pt Douglas and back. Over a few days there were of course many caches at roadside rest stops. I lost count of how many there were where the cache was right in the area people used. There were some with the cache nearby in the scrub, but enough to really rack up my DNF rate. At those I actually logged and did not just drive away from. Two that come to mind were GC1W6AT 'I need Minor Maintenance' A roadside stop with a pretty permanent roadside fresh goods seller. Apparently now they know about it, but last year it was off limits to me. The second, GCZA91 'Orange Gator' I suppose dusk was asking for trouble with grey nomads settling in, but there were heaps of vans, campers and diners at this one. no go again. Thanks for this chance to vent. Albida.

On a night out caching with my friend, we pulled up so she could find "F is for..." - one of my caches. It was dark in a secluded park on a rotunda.
Logged signed was about to put the cache back, me sitting on the seat in the rotunda friend slithers down to the ground near me.....then we see this muggle walking directly to us....oh no what to do....what to say.....are we safe......
I just started moaning and making out we were in a very comprimizing position.....friend hid her face in shame which made it look more like a comprimising situation....this female muggle got the picture we were painting, quickly turned and got out of there quick smart.
My friend has said she will never go caching with me again, but if ever we do I know what to do when muggles are around

Looking for a cache on the great ocean road we were down on a boardwalk that has a lookout at the top. A muggle came and sat looking down just as we got to GZ. It was cold and wet but we waited for him to leave and he just kept sitting there. Finally i crawled along underneath until i got to it and logged the cache. He still hadn't left when we got to the top.

There is a cache close to Williamstown in Victoria, it is a multi based around a very nice playground. When we pulled up we had the place to ourselves and walked around gathering the necessary numbers. Just as we had calculated the GZ (and had a very good idea where the cache was located) a car pulled up and 3 kids jumped out to play. We sat on a bench admiring the views over the bay for about 30 mins before giving up and going on to the next cache.
We have been back now 4 more times to pick up the cache and each time there has been multiple mini muggles too close to GZ to try and even search. One day we will be lucky to get there and find the area muggle free so we can stand the chance to get is off our list of unfound caches.

One evening whilst chasing a FTF in heavy bushland, Shael6636 and I came across a couple in a car. They were definately muggles - who would waste time with hanky panky if they knew a FTF was up for grabs nearby?

On doing a quick Multi near home, I was getting annoyed that WP1 was not showing itself. About to give up when a little female muggle showed me something that fell off the structure, she was worried that she broke it, but in reality it was the nano with the GZ info.

These are the co ordinates for WP 1 Polar Experience Multi in Bundaberg Qld. I had walked the walk and had all the answers and then I worked out where GZ should have been. On arrival it was Muggle Heaven as it is in a very Public Place, Free Counil car park in the CBD. Went away and came back about 4 hours later and there were still people and cars everywhere. I decided to come back at dark around 1800. I started this little adventure at 0530 in the morning due to where all the way points are located. Got to GZ and started probing the area and a gentleman who I did not see startled the life out of me when he asked" Have you lost something can I give you a hand". Explained that everything was ok. After he went I was probing again when the side door of a Combi style van nearby opened and three people got out and just looked at me. they have been doing Itenerant work in the area. They were from Austria on holiday. So I gave up and explained to them what I was doing and all three helped me to look. I was the lucky one to find the container and it was very well hidden. One of the party asked me to write down the url addresse for GC and GCA as they had a GPS and were going to be in Australia for another 8 months travelling down to Melbourne.

I was doing a cache near Parliament House in Canberra, a very high security area. I had ridden my electric bike up there from work and had some work to do around a garden collecting info for a multi. There was a gardener on the phone while I was doing it, but he seemed too interested in his phone conversation to worry about me. I sat down to do some calculations and then realised the cache was right here in the gardener's garden. The I hear this voice behind me. "What are you doing mate?" It was the gardener. I decided that partial honesty was the best policy and explained geocaching to him, omitting the part where I had just realised that the cache was very near to where we were standing.
He was a bit gruff and told me that I was okay to be looking around, but that I would probably be stopped by security. I found the cache finally and luckily it was in a secluded grove of the garden. I signed the log and got out of there as quickly as I could!

Whilst out caching one day were were attempting to find one located in a childrens playground. We were so engrossed in what we were doing that none of the 4 of us managed to notice a muggle approaching .....then she proceded to ask us what we were doing.......Busted big time.....but not by a muggle, she turned out to be the cache owner!!! After a bonus hint we quickly found the cache and left.

While attempting Historic loss I was approaching the GZ very confident in the find when I was approached by a female who lived nearby, she wouldn't leave me alone to continue my search! I decided to follow in another cachers pawprints by saying it was a lizard!! She had originally asked me if I was looking for birds eggs

WanderingAus wandered by on day 106 of a "climatic refugee" trip, hunting down GC11MDM Close to home by dalyrere, and was approached by a muggle resident of the nearby houses. I told him I had seen a strange looking lizard and was looking for it, so he helped me look for a while. He told me (twice) that he had moved from his house on the bay about 20 years ago when he could no longer look after his half acre of lawns. After about 10 minutes he moved on to inspect the construction work near the cache, but his wife had come out to keep an eye on me (or maybe on him) so I decided to give up the hunt.

Not the only time I've come across muggles, but one of the most annoying ones was a while ago in a former caching life. We were looking for a cache placed under a board walk on the beach.
Unfortunately a muggle happened upon us and asked what we were doing. Quick thinking me said I was looking for a bracelet I'd lost and demonstrated how I was drying myself and the bracelet had flown off - probably landing on the edge of the boardwalk.
The muggle then spent the next half an hour helping me find my lost bracelet and explaining to every muggle who'd listen that I'd lost my bracelet around here. Sadly, we didn't find any bracelets, and had to log a DNF on the cache as well.

We were looking for a really tricky micro cache at North Sydney.
The area was filled with muggles looking at us search. We walked around and around trying not to be noticed ... but to no avail ... the only way we would find the cache would be to climb up onto the structure. After a minute or two, a group of people came up to us. We thought they were muggles. They were actually a couple of cachers - Agent Provocateur and Mercuryprawnhead. Busted in the field by other cachers.

While caching in Port Melbourne waiting for the ferry back home to Tas, (I wont mention the name of particular cache)but you end up underneath a small jetty on the beach, I was laying under the jetty signing the log (only about 50cm room) and some muggles wandered out onto the jetty stopping right above me. Not wanting to look like the wierdo hanging around under a jetty, I laid very still and thought I will just wait here till they leave..... then my mobile rang, the muggles left very quickly

After finding a cache that would appear to be cacher proof I returned to the site with a 12 year old scout who was interseted in trying Geocaching. At the time there had been only 2 finds and 5 DNF's. The young scout walked up to the cache and stated "It's under that rock" and proceded to retrieve the cache. This was done with the GPS showing the coordinates were out by 60 meters.
I would call this one Cacher proof not Muggle proof.
The young scout went on to find a further 5 caches over two days.

We arrived at the GZ and found another group in the park.
We tried to look interested and not obvious.
For some time both groups circled the GZ and then someone realised that we were both on the same mission. So we both logged the cache chatted for a while and moved on.
After having to walk away from a number of sites that day because of muggles on picnics it was nice to have others looking for the same thing and not getting in each others ways.

Our most unusual muggling came in the form of this log:
Not relatively muggle free for us!
Drove up here to find two blokes sitting in a car, apparently "having a chat".
No probs. We decided to see if we could outlast them, so we sat innocently in the car, as others have done, and looked at the marvy sunset and the poor koala in the tree on the top of the ridge getting blown about.
Then the two blokes started up their car and left. Yippee!
Oh wait, another car has pulled up behind us. Out jumped two more blokes, who headed straight behind the bush about 10m from GZ (and still in view of the car park).
One of them pulled his pants down...
We left pretty quickly after that! We'll try and find the cache at another (hopefully more family friendly) time!
We did eventually find the cache, although it has been since archived. The cache was at a nice lookout, but it was a dodgy area, muggle and rubbish wise.
